
STOP. You must stop behind the stop line. Do not proceed until the light turns green and the intersection is clear.

STOP. If you are so close to the stop line that you cannot stop safely, proceed with caution. Amber is a warning that the light is about to turn red. If you can stop safely, you must do so. If you are already very close to the intersection and stopping suddenly would be dangerous, proceed with caution.

GO. You may proceed through the intersection. However, before entering, look to the right and left to ensure it is safe and that there are no vehicles or pedestrians still in the intersection.
